Three of Malta’s riding clubs, namely Cross, Tal-Maghtab and Pegasus joined forces to organise a show jumping competition at the recently refurbished Tal-Maghtab Equestrian Arena. Classes started from 50cm and went up to 100m.
A well attended competition, with riders representing various clubs ensured that spectators spent an afternoon watching some nail biting competition as riders tackled a course designed by FEI Level II coach Tommy Xuereb.
Most of the classes were closely-contested with quite a few jump-offs being required to determine winners. A jump-off is necessary when riders finish equal on points.
The event was made possible through the support and assistance of Wall’s Ice Cream represented in Malta by M&Z Marketing, Golden Tulip Vivaldi, P&M Farrugia, GivenSolution.com and Mr. Leli Baldacchino of Tal-Maghtab Stables.
